Public Notice Clinton City - Completion of FY 2025 Audit
In accordance with Utah Code § 10-6-152, Clinton City hereby gives notice that the financial audit for Fiscal Year 2025 has been completed. The audit was conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
A copy of the audit report is available for public inspection at the Clinton City offices, located at 2267 N 1500 W, Clinton Utah 84015 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. The report can also be accessed on the Clinton City website at www.clintoncity.com.

Notice of Certification of Annexation Petition
NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION OF ANNEXATION PETITION
Pursuant to Utah Code 10-2-208, the City of Clinton, Utah, hereby provides notice as follows:
- On October 29, 2025, a petition proposing the annexation of real property located at approximately 2224 North 4500 West, Clinton, Utah, Davis County, and encompassing approximately 155.14 acres was filed with the City of Clinton by Mike Bastian (Lone Pine Development LLC) and Kraig Butt.
- On December 9, 2025, the Clinton City Council accepted the Petition to be further considered and authorized the Petition to be certified by City Staff.
- On January 8, 2026, City Staff certified that the Petition meets the requirements of Utah State Law and notice was provided to the Clinton City Council, the contact sponsors, and the Davis County Commission.
- The 155.14-acre area proposed for annexation in the petition shown on the attached map and includes the following parcels:
- The complete Annexation Petition is available for inspection and copying at the Clinton City Recorder’s Office, 2267 North 1500 West, Clinton, Utah, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
- The City of Clinton may grant the Petition and annex the above-described area unless a written protest to the Annexation Petition is filed with:

A copy of the protest must also be delivered to the Clinton City Recorder at the address noted above on the same date that the protest is filed with the Davis County Boundary Commission. Any protest must be filed no later than February 8, 2026. A protest to this annexation may be filed by the governing body of an affected entity or an owner of rural real property located within the area proposed for annexation. To file a protest, submit a written statement that states each reason and justification including relevant documentation. Provide the name and mailing address of a contact person to receive notice from the Boundary Commission.
- If a valid, timely protest is not filed, the Clinton City Council will provide notice and hold a public hearing to gather public input on the Petition, after which they will consider approval or denial of the Petition. If a valid protest is filed, no public hearing will be held until after receipt of the Davis County Boundary Commission’s decision on the protest.
- The area proposed for annexation to the City of Clinton will also automatically be annexed to have Clinton City provide law enforcement and fire services. The area proposed for annexation is already within the service areas of the Hooper Water Improvement District and the Clinton Sanitary Sewer Special Service District, which will continue to provide water and sewer services, as applicable.

Notice is hereby given of the 2026 Clinton City Council Meeting Schedule.
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS • When: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month • Time: 7:00 p.m. CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSIONS • When: Second and fourth Tuesday of each month • Time: 6:00 p.m. • Purpose: Discussion and informational items only. No final action will be taken.
MEETING LOCATION Clinton City 2267 North 1500 West Clinton, Utah 84015 ELECTRONIC PARTICIPATION One or more members of the City Council may participate electronically in meetings as permitted by Utah law. The anchor location for all meetings shall be the Clinton City Council Chambers at the address listed above. NOTICE OF CHANGES The City Council may cancel, reschedule, or change the time or location of any meeting due to holidays, emergencies, or other circumstances. Any such changes will be publicly noticed in accordance with the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act.
