Clinton Farmers' Market
Vender Policy and Information
The Market includes the following categories of vendors:
- Grower -- This includes gardeners and farmers.
- Bakery -- This includes individual, licensed food producers.
- Mixed Product/Craft -- This includes small business products and crafts.
Our goal is to have Growers make up at least 50% of the vendors. This may limit the number of other vendors accepted.
All produce must be grown in Clinton or neighboring communities. Wholesaling or reselling of any product is not permitted. Products that need to be inspected and /or tested by the Department of Agriculture must meet that standard prior to being brought to the Farmers' Market. Sampling of produce or products is not permitted. These products are to be sold by the grower or a family member.
These items must be sold by the person who prepared them or a family member. The vendor must obtain all of the required permits and approval from the Department of Health and provide a copy of the "Food Establishment Permit." Bakery items must be packaged; samples are not permitted.
This may include agricultural products mixed with other products. Craft items must be original and unique in work or design. The starting material must be significantly changed and enhanced by the seller.
